A Message from the Imam

Assalaamu Alaykum
As muslims it is vital that we study the life of our prophet Muhammed (s.a.w), within this falls the beautiful chararcter and way of the greatest man to be sent to mankind. If we take even a brief glance into the lives of the Sahaabah (companions of the prophet), we will come to a definite conclusion that the secret of their success was in the total obedience and acceptance of the lifestyle that our beloved prophet taught them. The ways of the beloved prophet are known as 'The Sunnah'. In order to attain happiness and blessings in our life we should also try our utmost to adopt these. Without a shadow of a doubt we will notice a change in our life, we will begin to feel barakah (blessings), peace and an inner happiness as a result of our efforts. As our prophet himself said:
"Hold fast onto my Sunnah"
Insha Allah over the coming weeks I will try my utmost to regularly post a few sunnahs of the prophet. I'll try and concentrate on those sunnahs which fall into our daily routine, those acts we do regularly like sleeping, eating drinking etc. I pray to Allah that it benifits us all.

Madrassah

Alhamdulillah, through the grace of Allah madrassah started on Monday the 19th of April 2010.
Masha-Allah we've had a steady response. Parents wanting to send their children are requested to pick up an application form from the Mosque or on Friday at the Grandstand. A downloadable form will soon be available online inshallah.

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, we now have a new full time Imam, Mr Attique-ur-Rehman with us. Please make time to get acquainted with Imam Attique and may Allah help us all in achieving our goal of a new Mosque Inshallah, Ameen.
